
Ensuring fair and efficient distribution of financial assistance
In response to the sharp rise in energy prices and inflation in 2022, the Danish government sought to provide immediate financial assistance to the most affected citizens. However, inconsistencies in central registry data posed a challenge to automating payments, requiring an agile and transparent application-based solution to ensure that funds reached eligible recipients efficiently. The system needed to validate claims, categorize applications for pre-approval or manual review, and integrate seamlessly with government payment systems. In addition, it had to minimize administrative burden and avoid fraudulent claims.
