cBrain F2® is a secure enterprise platform built for government, bringing processes, compliance and AI together in one integrated system.
Developed through decades of close collaboration with Danish ministries and other public authorities, F2 builds on proven government practices. It enables digital transformation at scale through preconfigured commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software rather than custom development.

Per Tejs Knudsen started his career by founding PPU Software, which later became Maconomy A/S. In 2000, he listed Maconomy on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In 2002, he founded cBrain, which he took public in 2006, and he remains CEO of the company.
Per is a member of the advisory board at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and a member of the Board of Representatives at the Technical University of Denmark.
Thomas Qvist was employed at Maconomy A/S from 1990 to 2002. In 2003, he joined cBrain as CTO, bringing with him solid experience from his previous position.
At cBrain, Thomas is responsible for leading technological development and heading the R&D department, where he ensures innovation and further development of the company's technology.
In addition, Thomas also serves as the company's Chief Security Officer.
Robert Lentz has over 20 years of experience in business development, strategic management, and digital transformation.
He began his career at Maconomy A/S, where he worked from 1995 to 2003 as Country Manager for Denmark and responsible for major international customers. His expertise and leadership were instrumental in driving growth and creating strong results.
In 2003, Robert joined cBrain as Senior Partner. Since 2008, he has held the role of COO, where he is responsible for the operational strategy that supports the company's growth.
Under his leadership, cBrain has achieved significant milestones, including being named 'Danish Company of the Year 2023' by the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce.
Charlotte Horn Andersen has been HR Director at cBrain since 2017, and is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that ensure organizational scalability, support business goals, and promote a healthy company culture. Prior to joining cBrain, Charlotte spent 8 years as Global HR Director at 3Shape A/S.
Previously, she worked as HR Business Partner at Maconomy and as a consultant in executive search. Charlotte holds a master's degree in International Management & Organization from Copenhagen Business School and is also a certified coach and psychotherapist.
David Cotterill joined cBrain in 2014 and has been Chief Strategy Officer since 2022, working to expand cBrain's cloud solutions into new markets, including the UK.
He has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, including leadership positions in the UK government, where he was Deputy Director of Strategic Change at the Cabinet Office and Deputy Director of Innovation at the Department for Work and Pensions. Earlier in his career, David worked as an Enterprise Architect at IBM and as a Project Manager at Navision.
Lars Møller Christiansen joined cBrain as Chief Financial Officer in August 2025.
He brings over two decades of experience from the Danish government, most recently serving as Deputy Director at the Agency for Green Transition and Aquatic Environment and before that at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency.
Lars has led financial management and digitization initiatives across ministerial and environmental domains, positioning him as a digital frontrunner in public sector transformation.
With deep expertise in e-government and sustainable innovation, Lars supports cBrain’s global growth by leveraging Denmark’s leadership in digital public administration.
In September 2025, Michael joined cBrain as Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this role, he works across the organization to manage, develop and align the product blueprint for the cBrain F2® commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platform.
Michael Ekegren holds an MSc in Computer Science from DTU and has a strong background in software development and digital solutions.
From 2001 to 2025, he worked at Netcompany, where he served as a Partner and was responsible for sales, development and delivery of ERDMS & process platforms, gaining deep market, process and solution insight from both national and international private and public clients.
Søren Tange joined cBrain in 2023 and serves as VP, Solutions. In this role, he leads the delivery of solutions based on the cBrain F2® commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platform.
Søren holds an MSc in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and brings a strong background in software development and the leadership of software development organizations.
From 1998 to 2017, he was with Maconomy A/S / Deltek Inc., where he led the entire engineering organization behind the Maconomy product portfolio from 2011 to 2017. From 2017 to 2023, he served as CPO at Configit A/S.
